Here’s a few more terms that you for sure will get to know well:
Atto di vendita: the deed of sale.

Catasto: Land registry. Many people ask about property deeds, the registration document from the land registry (which is run by the tax office) together with a copy of the deed of sale constitute the house deeds.
Permessi: In the simplest form, planning permission but not only. A permesso is also needed to start even simple works like replastering, installing new electrics etc.
Impianti: The main ones you’ll be hearing about is the impianto idrico (plumbing), impianto riscaldamento/condizionamento (heating/air conditioning), impianto elettrico (household wiring and electricals). Both heating systems and electrical systems need certification by the installer and in the case of heating annual checks should be logged in the register provided by the installer.
Certificati/Certificazione: You will need certificates for all of the impianti in your new home, this will be provided by the tradesman and things like energy certification is provided by your Geometra.
